Abstract: Half of the American Villas are located in suburban, suburban and satellite towns and are constructed of wood structures with exquisite courtyards and expansive event spaces.

American villas are mostly located in sub-centers, suburbs and satellite towns, and can be divided into three categories: townhouses, single-family homes and estates, depending on whether the building components are connected and how much land they occupy.

Townhouses include duplexes, triplexes and multiplexes. Two families share a common wall, and each house has a separate courtyard in front and behind.

Most of the villas are wooden structures. Because of the abundant forest resources in the United States, North American regenerating forests need to be cut down and renewed every 30 to 40 years, otherwise they will naturally decay, so ordinary multi-story houses generally use wood structure.

Wooden structures have the following advantages:

First, compared with concrete, the use of wood is more environmentally friendly.

Secondly, it is warm in winter and cool in summer, which makes it comfortable to live in. Wood itself has a low electrical conductivity. The insulation performance of wood is several times higher than that of concrete or brick walls for the same thickness.

Glass wool and gypsum board added during construction are low thermal conductivity materials, so wooden houses are relatively more comfortable, saving air conditioning in summer and heating in winter.

Third, it is easy to renovate and has more space. The same building area of wood construction has more usable area than reinforced concrete buildings, and wood houses are easy to maintain and easy to renovate. Whether it is plumbing or electrical or plumbing installation, you can do it yourself.

Fourth, the structure is stable. The wood material itself is flexible and light enough to resist instant impact.

The United States has had earthquakes before, many wooden houses were deformed because of the impact, and some houses even moved a certain distance, but none of them collapsed, proving the stability and seismic properties of wood-frame houses.

In addition, Americans pay attention to the landscape, half of the value of quality villas in the United States is reflected in the yard, and the cost of building and yard is roughly two to one.

Courtyard owners can trim their own flowers and plants to reflect their own personality and show their aesthetic interest.

It also allows for some gathering activities in the yard. If there are many family members coming, the owner will invite guests to the yard, usually around the beautiful pool and central lawn.

There are also outdoor wine bars, barbecue houses, music pools, dance floors, and style tents. Some owners also have tennis courts, polo fields, horse-racing courses, large sports lawns, family golf, private zoos, etc., according to their personal preferences.

American villas generally try to make use of natural environment rather than artificial environment. Because the density of the villa area is very low, the villas are surrounded by decades of secondary forests, and artificial is very expensive, and plants that do not need daily maintenance are used, which is not in line with their concept.
